- 09:20:37: back from prayer breakfast, where they discussed the sin of pride.
- 09:22:23: then we stopped at a pond so dad could show me his latest toy, a RC speedboat, but he forgot to charge the battery
- 09:23:19: the speedboat didnt last as long as it took us to set up chairs and get it into the water
- 09:24:48: dad observed that i smoke a lot. the funny thing is that a few days ago mom observed i'm smoking less

- 10:38:04: u might think the #US "q" is defined as a "k" sound & the "u" as a "w" but in fact it is that "qu" is defined as "kw" sound
- 10:42:11: thus the sound of a bare "q" is undefined in english. so why do they put bare "q" in Arabic words translittered from the Arabic alphabet?
- 10:44:06: the country Qatar is an example. how is that different from spelling it Katar? why put a letter that only sounds like another letter?
- 10:46:06: "c" can sound like an "s" or a "k", so why not put s or k in the word instead of ever putting a c & being ambiguous?
- 10:54:08: we English speakers decided القاعدة should be spelled al qaeda even tho the sound of a bare "q" is undefined! why?

- 19:18:12: to see niece Laura & grand-nephew Jake. we're home for the night now. i'm beat
- 19:19:05: i dont think my eyes are bothering me right now but the skin around my eyes is so raw
- 19:22:48: this is the 1st time at my sister's house since i got pink eye. i hope i'm not allergic to something there. i cant handle another round
